The International Magnetics Association
Membership Criteria

Full (Voting) membership is open to any business entity, firm or corporation which has been in business for a minimum of one (1) year and qualifies under one of the following categories:

Producer — Manufacturers of one or more of the following products; bonded magnets, ceramic magnets, metal magnets, soft ferrites and soft metallic materials and such other magnets or magnetic materials as may hereafter be added by the Board of Directors; or,

Distributor/Fabricator — Distributors of magnetic materials and/or fabricators of products or components containing magnetic material; or,

Supplier — Suppliers of products and services to the magnetics industry.

Users — of magnetic material, products or components.

Industry Related Publication or Other Media

Universities

Affiliate (Non-Voting) membership is open to individuals and associations with interests in the Industry. They are expected to participate in, comment on, and support appropriate technical activities, publications and conferences of the Association.

In addition to the above dues, each Full Member of the IMA pays a $150 surcharge for participation in each division applicable to its business.
